As a qualified Yoga instructor, teaching Hatha yoga sessions in and around Dagenham in East London, my classes offer an artful blend of movement, stillness, breath and awareness. My slow flow body balance classes focus on mindful movement bringing the connection of body and mind together with attention to correct alignment, and listening to your own body and its needs. I use aromatherapy to promote a calming and relaxing environment for my students by mixing different essential oils in a diffuser each class to enhance emotional and mental wellness. Each of my unique classes adds to wellness on and off your mat.

After working in the fast-paced and high-pressured marketing and events industry for over 17 years, I understand the importance of switching off and recharging. Taking time out to rebalance, helps better prepare us to face the challenges of the modern world. Training in Reflexology in 2015 and Indian Head in 2019, my holistic side-hustle became my main focus when the event industry suffered due to the pandemic. Supporting children’s wellbeing is something I am extremely passionate about, hence in 2021, I added Baby Reflexage to my offering. This is Baby Reflexology and Massage combined together using the Tiny Toes Method. I absolutely love empowering new parents with the techniques of reflexology to support early discomforts. I studied Hand Reflexology to support children with special educational needs within schools. Finally, I studied Pregnancy Reflexology with London School of Reflexology, with a focus on pre-conceptual, pregnancy, natural labour and post-natal. Alongside my business, I facilitate wellbeing and mental health training in the workplace, with POINT3 Wellbeing. This combines my corporate and holistic experience together, offering me flexibility to work around two young children. In addition to this, I am the Head of Marketing for Coram, the children’s charity. If I can use my skills to help others, making them feel better in themselves, then that is a good day in the office. Supporting people with their mental and physical wellbeing is extremely rewarding – I love what I do.

Mother and Father to a preverbal child who has been diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay (GDD). We’re not professionals, just parents from the UK who have completed a level 1 & level 2 Makaton course. We have found that implementing Makaton at home and working with our son’s educational setting to implement it there also, has had a positive impact on our son’s ability to express his needs and communicate with us, resulting in a positive change to our son’s temperament. Having a means to communicate and to be understood has made him much happier, and less frustrated. Our aim is to share what we have learnt, in the hope we can help others in a similar situation.
